A Case Report of Charcot;s Spine

Abstract
|
|
|
A case of Charcot´s disease at the level of the lumbosacral vertebrae with complicating instability of the lowback and severe neurological symptoms in the lower limbs is reported and the literature reviewed.
The case was treated by circumduction spinal fusion with grafting of autogenous iliac bone and finally achieved fairly good stability of the lowback.
